With 96% of precincts reporting, the McCain leads Huckabee by 2.3% of the vote. It sounds as if there will not be a recount. This is almost a tie. I can't stress enough how important it is for you and other delegates that are pledged to Huckabee to get out to your county convention! This is far from over and Huckabee can still win this at your county and state conventions.
Make sure you are calling friends, family, and anyone who will listen to vote for Huckabee in the Primary. Let's show Washington that we will not be disenfranchised by the primary process too.
I'd like to take a minute to thank The News Tribune in Tacoma for their coverage of the vote counting story. Thank you to their writer, Niki Sullivan, for writing the story. It seems as this is the only non-partisan place to find a story about the Republican Caucuses.

Washington State still out.
With 93.3 percent of precincts reporting, John McCain still has a slight 1.6% advantage over Mike Huckabee. This is still too close to call! Don't let the media or even the State Republican Pary Website fool you. There is still hope for the man from Hope!
Remember that a caucus this close means we need to be more fervent in convincing our friends, neighbors, relatives, co-workers, church members, and everyone to vote for Huckabee in the Primary. This campaign is far from over.
Also, all those of your who are delegates to your county convention, make sure you attend! There is a real possiblity that one candidate's delegates won't show up with 100% attendance. In a race this close, that could mean that Huckabee will win because our delegates are more diligent about their candidate.
Vote in the primary! Delegates ATTEND your county convention!
I'm not usually much of a conspiracy theorist, but here's what bothers me most about calling the election early, before all the votes are counted:
There are delegates out there that may be very excited to go to a county convention and vote for their candidate! Then they see on the news that the other Candidate wins. Well, why go to the convention now? My vote is not going to count anyway? Right? This is not good.

I CAN handle the truth.
With 16% reporting, there was a slim difference in the lead, 26%-25% for McCain. Then with 37% reporting, there was a wider 27%-23% lead for Huckabee. Now there's 87.2% reporting and a slim 25.5%-23.7% lead for McCain. We're supposed to just believe that McCain won? With those kind of swings in the earlier counting, should we assume that it is entirely possible for the vote to swing 1.8% in the last 12.8% to be counted? Huckabee would need a 250 delegate advantage in the last 2500 delegates to be counted. That would be like a 1375 to 1125 advantage. That's not possible? The Washington state Republican party owes us some answers.

Endorsements and Momentum
The train is rollin!
Endorsed by the loudest voice for the moral majority!
Now is the time for America to stand up and say, "We want our values back." There has never been a time that freedom has hung in the balance more than right now. Our country is about to choose the leader that has to bring us back from the brink.
From the brink of financial ruin with the implementation of the FairTax. From the brink of foreign crisis by winning the war on terror and defeating our enemies. From the brink of moral collapse by returning traditional family values to our nation's leadership.
I LIKE MIKE.

Save the American Economy
I know that the American people are hurting. Traveling this country, I hear their stories; I know that Main Street, as well as Wall Street, is threatened by a weakening economy. But we are all in this together.
We are coming off the weakest holiday shopping season in five years, with consumer spending slowing, housing starts fell in December to their lowest annualized rate since 1993, and foreclosures on subprime mortgages might reach two million by the end of next year. Washington needs to do more to help American families as they struggle to stay in their homes and put food on the table.
Two factors affect Americans' spending. First, they have to have money in their pockets to spend. Consumer spending is expected to grow only 1.6% this quarter, compared to 2.6% in the last quarter of 2007. Second, they have to have the confidence to spend it. When people feel good about their prospects, our economy expands; when people feel anxious, our economy contracts. Washington needs to immediately address both concerns. That's why I am putting forward a long-term plan, as well as a short-term plan, so that we can boost confidence RIGHT NOW, while adding to our national strength for the 21st century. Americans want to work, and they want to work hard. They want to compete, and to compete hard. They want to win. Now is the time to unleash the economic power of the United States of America. We need a new generation of leadership to take us forward into the 21st century.
There are many ideas under discussion in Washington right now, and I hope that our incumbent officials will take responsible action. But as I travel through the Heartland, I just have one urgent message to Washington: Hurry Up!

Pledge It Up
Not like me to put this stuff on the blog. I'll try to keep it to a minimum.
Dec27th.com
Here's what you can do to continue the momentum:
====================================
1) GO PLEDGE AT: http://www.dec27th.comThe amount you pledge is not as important as that you participate. Even "A Buck For Huck" helps. Unless you have already maxed out your contributionlimit, there is no reason not to participate.
2) SPREAD THE WORD HOWEVER YOU CAN:Again, this is the one grassroots effort that everyone can get behind. The campaign has expressed the excitement and approval. This will be big if weall push together!
